Account Registration

How to register and verify your Fusang account.

How do I activate two-factor authentication (2FA)?

To activate 2FA on your account:

  1. Download an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy) on your mobile device
  2. Log in to your Fusang account and navigate to Security Settings
  3. Select "Enable 2FA" and scan the QR code displayed on screen with your authenticator app
  4. Enter the 6-digit code generated by your authenticator app to confirm activation

Once activated, you will be required to enter a code from your authenticator app each time you log in.

What is an authenticator app and why do I need it?

An authenticator app provides dual-factor authentication (2FA) for your account. It generates time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) that add an extra layer of security beyond your username and password.

Even if someone obtains your password, they cannot access your account without also having access to your authenticator app. Popular authenticator apps include Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, and Authy.

Why do I get errors when submitting my I.D.?

| Face mismatch | The photo on the document does not match the selfie provided |
| Expired document | The identity document has passed its expiry date |

Why do I get errors when submitting proof of address?

Common reasons for proof of address submission errors:

| Error | Cause |
| --------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| Bad image quality | The document image is unclear or illegible |
| Invalid document date | The document is older than 3 months |
| Invalid document type | The document type is not accepted as proof of address |

Accepted documents include utility bills, bank statements, and government-issued correspondence dated within the last 3 months.

How do I qualify as a Sophisticated Investor (SI)?

You may qualify as a Sophisticated Investor by providing one or more of the following documents:

  • Income or tax returns demonstrating qualifying income levels
  • Brokerage statements showing qualifying investment portfolio
  • Asset verification documents
  • Professional certifications in finance

The specific requirements vary by investor category:

High-Net-Worth Individual: Must demonstrate net personal assets or net joint assets exceeding the prescribed threshold, or gross annual income exceeding the prescribed level.

High-Net-Worth Entity: Must demonstrate total net assets exceeding the prescribed threshold as per the most recent audited financial statements.

Accredited Investor: Must meet regulatory criteria as defined by the applicable securities regulations in your jurisdiction.

Please contact our support team for detailed requirements applicable to your situation.

Why do I need to go through KYC?

Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures are required to comply with international standards set by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). These procedures help:

  • Verify the identity of all users on the platform
  • Prevent money laundering and terrorist financing
  • Ensure the source of wealth is legitimate
  • Conduct necessary screening against sanctions lists

KYC is a regulatory requirement for all licensed financial services providers, and Fusang takes its compliance obligations seriously.

  • North Korea
